Summer Day Camps 2008

Ranier Valley Cultural Center My wonderful colleague in children's yoga, Nicole Koleshis, and I are very excited to offer a week long yoga day camp this June at the Ranier Valley Cultural Center in beautiful Columbia Valley! June 23 - 27th, 2008 9:30am - 2pm Monday through Friday Ages 5-11 (acceptions possible at director's discretion) Join us for a fun filled week of yoga, games, arts & crafts, music, outdoor adventures and much more! Cost: $225 ($200 for siblings) includes, yoga mats, all craft supplies and a healthy daily snack. Nicole Koleshis Nicole Koleshis discovered her love for teaching yoga to children through her work as an occupational therapist. Over the past six years, yoga has become an essential part of her therapeutic intervention and she has expanded her teachings to Lotus Yoga (www.lotusyoga.biz) and after-school programs to include all children in the benefits and fun yoga has to offer. She is certified to teach kids yoga through the Radiant Child Yoga Program and Next Generation Yoga and has attended an introductory workshop on Integrated Movement Therapy. Nicole’s Kid’s Yoga classes often have various themes, such as the solar system and ocean creatures. Music, creative movement, storytelling, and fun props, as well as traditional asanas (yoga poses), pranayama (breathing exercises), and savasana (relaxation), are incorporated into her classes. Taj Yoga Summer Day Camp I'm glad to announce a second yoga camp during the summer! Join me at Taj Yoga located just north of Ballard in Crown Hill. July 14-18th 12-3:30 daily Ages 7-12 Cost: $175 ($150 per sibling) includes all mats, props, craft supplies and a yummy daily snack! Space is limited to 15 participants so register early!!!
